“Rīgas satiksme” receives silver category award of the Sustainability Index
“Rīgas satiksme” has received the silver category award of the Sustainability Index organized by the Institute for Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility (InCSR).
The chairperson of the Board of “Rīgas satiksme” Džineta Innusa: “We are pleased to receive the award, as during the last year we have worked carefully and purposefully to improve both internal and external processes. The received award confirms that the operations of “Rīgas satiksme” are focused on responsible actions in relations with customers, cooperation partners and the public, as well as the attitude towards the environment. During the year, the operations of Rīgas satiksme were purposefully focused on the implementation of the openness and transparency principles. We are determined to continue our work on improving the company so that we do not stop at the silver award.”
The Sustainability Index is a strategic management tool, within which the principles of risk and process management of organizations are assessed according to the principles of the internationally recognized methodology.
The association “Institute for Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility” was founded at the beginning of 2011 with the aim to strengthen the sustainable development of the state and local community by educating the society and raising awareness of responsible and far-sighted actions and promoting the development of civil society.
